This was the last run of the Aloe Festival Special between Creighton and Riverside on the only section of this railway that is still in operation.

The sun rises on Class 19D No 2669 the classic SAR branch line locomotive pilots Sizonke Stimela's Class GMAM on the climb to Donnyrook.

The GMAM was the usual motive power on the line until the end of Steam in the early 1970s.
